Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any experience working with 'עצמאי שכיר' (נמחק).
I have a full time job and I occasionally get requests to do freelance jobs (just a few per year).
Last time I did a couple of jobs I opened a business, but paying the CPA for opening, closing, reporting fees eneded up costing like 1/3 of what I made, not to mention the extra trouble of going to their office, etc.
So I was wondering if these guys might save me the trouble, for only a 5% cut, which sounds much preferable to visiting government offices filling out forms, filing reports, having my finances examined...
I've also seen articles about such schemes being a potentially grey area legally, but I'm not sure how current they are since this site claims to have sorted the legal stuff out.
And finally, would there be any taxes or fees beyond the 5% they charge for just being listed in their employ that they might not list?
I'll be sure to ask all this directly from them but I would appreciate and personal experience from anyone in this forum.
PS. This forum has some funky handling of English.
